Head teacher’s blog 12th September 2014
All the classes appear to have settled very quickly at the start of the new school year and this first full week has been busy and focussed. All of our new Reception intake are now in school and we have also welcomed four new children into Key Stage 2. The last Y6 classroom is almost finished and the children are keen to use the associated new playground space. There is a very positive atmosphere around school and it is a happy place to be. For the first time in many years, I am teaching some regular maths lessons and I am really enjoying working with my group of Y6 children – it reminds me why I first became a teacher over twenty years ago!
