OFSTED

Following our inspection in September 2023, Ofsted published their report for our school.

Once again, we are strongly ‘Good’ and the report is effusive in its praise. Our school is described as ‘vibrant and happy’; our curriculum is ‘ambitious’ and ‘exciting’, with some of it being ‘exceptional’; all our children ‘flourish’ in our inclusive culture; and support for children with SEND is described as ‘exceptional’ (and it twice brought the HMI Inspector to tears). Our children are described as ‘fluent readers’ and ‘confident mathematicians’. The school’s work to safeguard pupils is, in Ofsted language, ‘highly effective’ – the best she had ever seen in an inspection, she said privately.

We have a couple of areas to work on, but those are areas that we have already started to consider.

Overall, this is a superb report and we would like to thank everyone – staff, children, parents and governors – for their hard work and support. Well done!

Ofsted Parent View for our school is here.
