Farfield Farm

Our top field hosts Farfield Farm: a locally unique horticultural facility that the children can enjoy and learn from throughout the year comprising of two large polytunnels, an extensive orchard, outdoor planting areas, an accessible garden, greenhouse, classroom, pigs area, a flock of chickens and bee hives.

Younger children do seasonal visits whereas the juniors spend an afternoon on the farm once every half term. Produce from the farm is used in cooking lessons or ‘sold’ on after-school stalls. Eggs are available from the Junior reception area.
