Our tricky word this week is so. Can your child read and write all the tricky words that we have learnt so far in Reception?
We have also learnt the phoneme/ grapheme ear like in fear and ure like in cure. Can your child think of other words with these trigraphs in?
Maths
We have had lots of fun learning about doubles. Can your child quickly recall the double facts?
The children enjoyed all the practical activities. They thought the ‘doubling machine’ was great!
They enjoyed listening to this funny story.
They also used their double knowledge to make butterflies and we talked about symmetry.
