The place to be…
It has been a glorious week at school: bright sunshine and plenty of options to enjoy the grounds. A prospective parent once said during a tour: “I mean this in a positive way – your school looks very well-used.” We took this as a compliment. A DfE surveyor also once commented that ours were the best school grounds he had ever seen.
A tour of the site at lunchtime this week showed this in all its glory with our very lucky children making the most of the site and the play opportunities they are given. Children can play games and sports, climb and swing, make dens, dig, spend time with the animals, run around, or just relax with friends. With the blossom out, fresh leaves unfurling and brilliant blue skies, it is a beautiful place to be.
