6J Residential – Day 3
After a good night’s sleep, 6J were ready to take on day 3 of their residential. The children were, by now, experts at putting on harnesses and helmets and were ready in no time before taking on the final activity – a high-wire and zip-line over the top of the gorge.
The children faced this final challenge with enthusiasm and bravery. Zak R moon-walked backwards across the high wire while singing loudly and kept everyone entertained while waiting for their turn.
We are so proud of all the children for overcoming their fears, pushing themselves out of their comfort zones, and trying new things. It has been a pleasure to spend time with them and watch them shine.
Huge thanks to the staff at How Stean Gorge and our instructors, Tom, Danny, Greg, Alice, Dave and Luke for looking after the children and staff so well all week.

Looks like they all had an amazing time
Thank you very much for all yours efforts, Lewis really enjoyed it however, he appears broken from all the activities and excitement.
Well done 6J you did an amazing job and none of us parents would be able to do this we would be afraid.
