Summer break!

It has been a jam packed week of assemblies, performances, DT and last but not least, our end of term party!

DT
Y3 enjoyed spending a day on their final DT project, designing and creating their Roman shields! Children painted a base and worked carefully. After the base was dry, they painted their design. Lots of children opted for a boss in front of their shield, and some even worked with an adult, using a hot glue gun to put on their boss and handle. We enjoyed going outside and practising different formations to help evaluate the shields.

End of term party
On Thursday afternoon, Year 3 were very excited because it was party time! It was the perfect time to share their successes in Year 3 and spend time with their friends, singing, playing games, and eating!  Thank you to everyone for their contributions towards the party!

Party

It has been a pleasure teaching the children! They have worked hard, grown up so much, and we are so excited for them to move up to Year 4 with their new skills and positive attitudes. We wish them all the best!

Have a wonderful summer break. Thank you for all your support throughout the year and for the generous gifts for all the staff. The Chromebooks are going back home! Hopefully this will give children more time to work on their times tables!
