Phonics
This week, the children have been introduced to the phoneme and grapheme for ‘t’. We read the rhyme and looked at works that begin with the ‘t’ phoneme.
Concept Words
This week, we have looked at ‘most’ and more’.
Maths
We explored the concept of ‘repeat’ this week by creating various patterns using both large and small objects.
Chicks
The eggs hatched, revealing what had been growing inside: quail chicks. We have enjoyed watching and holding them, though some children were more eager than others.

Everything else
This week’s weather has been quite variable. Despite this, the children have spent plenty of time outside, except on Wednesday, when the wind was too strong. They have enjoyed activities such as painting with cotton buds, drawing monsters, building models, squirting water, and much more.

Have a lovely weekend,
The Nursery Team
