Headteacher blog 20th May 2016
It has been Year 2’s turn to sit SATs tests and they seemed to enjoy their ‘quizzes’ this week. These tests will inform Teacher Assessments in June by which time the government might have decided what the pass mark may be! Year 1 had an exciting time earlier in the week as they were able to get up close to a range of exciting animals whilst a number of children in Year 5 visited Herd Farm again to experience their high and very long zip wire. Next week, Year 5 will be on residential in the Yorkshire Dales walking, caving, mountain biking and studying a river. The weather forecast is mixed so the waterproofs that we have hired will be useful! We will then all enjoy a week’s holiday: time to recharge batteries!
