This week the junior children have been doing the tests that they would have usually done towards the end of the summer term. Results are still being collated, but early indications are that there has been a drop in the reading comprehension scores that we might usually expect, but maths scores are more comparable. Attendance has been good this week despite everything going on, and classes seem happy and settled. Attendance has been improving this week: over 90% again now following a big drop in week 2. Self-isolation and delays in testing results are still causing issues – the longest wait having been over a week! I think we are all getting better at making judgements about whether or not we need a test. Read More

It has, in some ways, been a difficult week as many families have had to self-isolate as one member of a household has displayed some possible symptoms of COVID and as a result, all the family have had to go home.
