Nursery – 13.06.25
Phonics
This week, we have started to look at the grapheme for the letter ‘t’. We practised saying the sound and blending sounds for words beginning with ‘t.’ We also read a sentence that uses alliteration and the rhyme for ‘t’.
Maths
We have continued to look at the number 7. This week, we practised representing 7 and forming the numeral for 7.

Fruit and Vegetables
Everything is growing! We are so pleased that our fruit and vegetable patch is developing well. The children have enjoyed watching them grow and have finally had the opportunity to taste some of the goods! The children loved the lettuce.

Everything else
This week, the children have created some lovely cards for Sunday (no spoilers here!). We have also spent time practising the letters in our names, using pens/pencils and marking in flour. Nursery and Reception have worked together to create a ‘stone’ that will be displayed at Farsley Festival. The Festival takes place on Saturday, 21st June, from 12 pm at Hainsworth Park. Make sure you look out for it.

Have a lovely weekend
