This week the children have continued to consolidate their understanding of numbers to 10. They have practised doubling and used the rekenrek to make number bonds up to 10. We have also spent some time creating repeated patterns. Can your child show you a repeated pattern?

Music

The children are doing so well at learning 2 new songs – ‘What Is In The Music Box’ and ‘What Can You See, In The Sea’. The children have learnt the names of the different instruments they play as well as the group they belong in – shakers, drums, wood blocks etc. They can start and stop playing playing their instrument when instructed by the conductor!

Sports Day

On Wednesday 8th July from 9.15-10.15 on the field passed the hill. Children can wear their PE kit this day. They must bring a hat and have suncream applied should the sun be out! We will bring water bottles out to the field so please make sure they bring one to school. We would ask that you remain seated on the right hand side and we will ensure the children are safe and have lots of fun! Save your energy for the grown ups races!

Everything else…

We hope to see you at the Camp Over on Saturday. It will be a super fun day.
