It has been a glorious week at school: bright sunshine and plenty of options to enjoy the grounds. A prospective parent once said to me during a tour: “I mean this in a positive way – your school looks very well-used.” I did take this as a compliment. A tour of the site at lunchtime this week showed this in all its glory with our very lucky children making the most of the site and the play opportunities they are given. Children can play games and sports, climb and swing, make dens, dig, spend time with the animals, run around, or just relax with friends. With the blossom out, fresh leaves unfurling and brilliant blue skies, it is a beautiful place to be.
