Year 5 residential in the sun
Year 5 have had a great week in the Yorkshire Dales at Gearstones Lodge. They have learnt about rocks and rivers, found out about the building of the magnificent Ribblehead viaduct, been on a waterfall and night walk and taken part in strenuous caving and mountain biking activities. The weather was glorious (a bit too hot Thurs/Fri!).
Particular thanks go to the staff for giving up their time to organise and deliver a very challenging DIY residential and to voulunteers and supporters such as Emily, Matt Asquith (East Bradford Cycling Club), Charlie Pyatt and Chris Young (British Cycling).
