Phonics

During our phonics sessions, the children have looked at the phoneme and grapheme for ‘d’. They have thought about words beginning with ‘d’ and practised sounding out and blending words beginning with ‘d’.

Word Aware

This week, the children have looked at ‘short’ and ‘side’.

Maths

We read Bears in Beds to look at addition. We thought about adding ‘one more’ each time another character appeared in the story.
