Headteacher blog 2/5/25

It has been a GLORIOUS week at Farfield, with everyone’s spirits lifted even higher by the non-stop sunshine and warmer weather. It has been a great week for 3B’s trip to Harlow Carr gardens, Reception children visiting Farsley and lots of mountain biking – on the grounds and at The Chevin – for Year 5. Playtimes have been lovely. The cycle coaches sat watching at lunchtime earlier in the week and marvelled at the range of activities and facilities the children enjoyed and how active and healthy they were.

We have also had a lot of interest in our Deputy Head/SendCo vacancy and potential candidates touring the school have said, more than once, “Do the children know how lucky they are?” We are hopeful and confident that we will be able to make a strong appointment to this crucial role.
