Headteacher blog 28th February 2025
It has been a very positive first week back after half term: improving weather along with refreshed children and staff. We have had a busy week: with twilight training on a new phonics scheme as well as a governors meeting and a Schools Forum. Our Y4s did well at a city-wide skipping competition, our U11 football team won their game with Featherbank and our school councillors have had a trip to Leeds Civic Hall to find out about local democracy. Our Y1s went to Farsley Library and a Reception class visited the school farm, supported by some Y6 children. Today we have shown our support for the Leeds Children’s Heart Surgery by wearing red and making donations.
