Remembrance at Farfield
During the remembrance assembly the KS2 children learned about the names on the Farsley Cenotaph and about who they were as people. Mr Tiffany’s aim was to help the children understand that they were real people with real lives. The final video represents that idea and is of Britain’s last veteran of the war: Harry Patch.

The infants watched an age-appropriate video about the poppy fields and Year 2 created their own poppies and beautiful version of Poppy:Wave. Year 2 also visited the Farsley Cenotaph.
