A special Y5 choir have been practising four songs for months for performance at a huge city-wide concert at the Leeds Arena. It was a spectacular evening with an audience of thousands. A team of four of our best Y5 mathematicians attended a Maths Challenge competition at GSAL last week. With 20 schools in attendance, our team came third and won a class trip to a new attraction in Leeds Trinity called Maths City. Well done!

The children were all asleep by 11ish and they more or less slept through. Bless them, they are shattered. The children did chat in their tents until very late last night, some after midnight, and one tent was awake again at 4.15am thanks, perhaps, to a local cockerel.
