Head teacher blog 19th September
We have really started the year well and every class is working hard. The continued good weather allows us to make great use of our wonderful school grounds both at break times and in lessons. Our new bee hives continue to create a ‘buzz’ in school (metaphorically) and Year 3 welcomed our parent bee-keepers into class this week for an enjoyable and informative lesson. I enjoyed Mrs Loveridge’s KS1 reading workshop on Thursday and I hope that the parents found it useful. I was also delighted to see such a rich and interesting range of extra-curricular clubs published again this year – I am grateful to all the staff, and volunteers, that are able to support this important part of the school’s offer.
