Assessment Success (again)

2024 was another year of good academic progress and attainment. Attainment is typically national average or better, with high levels of attainment at ‘Greater Depth’. In 2024, the percentage of Farfield Y6 children reaching ‘greater depth’ in each of reading, writing and maths is in the top 5% of all schools nationally (TBC). What an achievement!

Our KS1 cohorts were disproportionately ‘summer born’ in 23-24 which does impact somewhat on attainment. We are also a very inclusive school, with a very wide range of attainment: typically with some children unable to access formal assessments, and many reaching ‘greater depth’.
