2MW Visit Yorkshire Wildlife Park

What a fabulous day we have had today at Yorkshire Wildlife Park!

Children had some close encounters with animals in our habitats workshop; holding African land snails and meeting hissing cockroaches and a royal python. We explored lots of the park and particularly enjoyed seeing the polar bears after learning about them before Christmas. Other highlights included wishing the lion cubs a happy first birthday (they turned one today), getting a great view of a leopard, visiting the giraffe house and of course spending time on the brilliant adventure playground!

Thank you very much to everyone for making sure children were at school on time and prepared. An extra thank you to the parents who accompanied us today.
