Headteacher blog 8th June 2017
I have had a terrific end to the week supporting 6T on their residential at How Stean Gorge near Pateley Bridge. This is a super progression from the Y5 residential: abseiling 15m down into a steep gorge and then scrambling up river is surely a memory for a lifetime. As one parent commented on the blog: “Outdoor education at its very best at Farsley Farfield!” The group were brave and determined and a pleasure to spend time with. They were probably the best group I have ever been away with in terms of going to bed! Many thanks to the staff that gave so much time to make the trip a success and keep the children safe.
