We had a great time on the PTA Camp-Over last weekend and it encapsulated much of what we most value at Farfield: community, cooperation, good citizenship, outdoor play and rich childhood experiences. I would like to thank again all those that were able to attend or volunteer at the event. It seems that we have raised about £2500 for the PTA funds. This week we have placed our order for a brand new minibus and this is in large part thanks to a large donation from the PTA.
On Wednesday, we had a busy day of sporting competition. We took a large team of athletes to the ‘Mini-Olympics’ at the John Charles Centre and, at the same time and venue, we had a small team of tennis players competing in the city finals. The competition was fierce but the children represented the school very well and should be proud of their efforts. I hope that they enjoyed themselves.
