Farsley Farfield Primary School

Year 6 27.3.26

We have had another busy week in Year 6 and the children have done really well with the rest of the assessments we have given them. We are only a few school weeks away from SATS in May and so these tests will help inform our revision when we return (and some Easter homework while we are away!)

As a reminder – here is the timetable for the SATs week.

Here are some links to BBC bitesize English and Maths revision games your child might wish to play.

Science

We have come to the end of our unit on the circulation system and this week, the children looked at how the body transports nutrients and water. We also looked at how this happens in other animals such as fish and insects: did you know that insects don’t have a closed system of blood vessels? Children used this informative website to research the different types of circulation system that exist in nature and produced some lovely diagrams showing the difference.
