Poetry and Dance
Poetry Performances
This week, Year 3 and 4 came together to share the poems that we have been learning this half term. Both Year 4 classes performed ‘Granny’s Sugarcake’ by John Lyons on the stage in the hall. The children worked really well in their classes, deciding how they wanted to perform the poem, adding actions and working hard to learn all the words. Well done Year 4!
Dance
In P.E this half term, 4SL have been working hard in their street dance unit of work. Our finished dance includes the children dancing in unison and in canon; performing movements that they have learned and movements that they have choreographed; performing as a whole class and performing in groups. 4NL completed the same project last half term. We would love to share our final performances with you.
Dates for next week
- Tuesday 16th December 2pm – KS2 performance, including 4SL singing
- Wednesday 17th December 9:20am – KS2 performance, including 4NL singing

There will be no swimming on Wednesday 17th December. Swimming will start again after the Christmas holidays.
Thank you for the donations of cardboard boxes for our D.T project. If anyone else has any boxes (shoebox or similar) that they do not need, we would be grateful if you could bring them in next week.
Wishing you a lovely weekend,
Mrs Sykes, Miss Levett and Mr Nehaul
