Nursery – 27.06.25
Phonics
This week, we continued to explore the letter ‘p’. The children impressed us with their grapheme hunting and formation.

Maths
The children have continued to look at the number 8. They have practised forming the numeral and have drawn representations of the number.

Pirates
After a child came to Nursery dressed as a pirate, we made a ship to hunt for treasure. In the afternoon, more pirates arrived! The children had great fun dressing up, steering the ship, and following a map.

Everything else
This week, the children have continued to create some amazing models using a variety of resources. We used a light panel to make new colours and looked closely at a moth! Some of the strawberries we planted were ripe enough to eat, so the children washed, cut, and ate them! They also spent time outside building dens and riding bikes.

Have a lovely weekend
The Nursery Team
