New Deputy Head teacher/SENDCO for school
As you may know, Deputy Headteacher/SENDCo Dan Hemming has been successful in securing the headship at Cookridge Holy Trinity Primary School for September. Lucy Swindlehurst, the former SENDCo, has been working with us part time this year as she moves to a new career outside of education but in a related field. Lucy’s last day at Farfield is next Tuesday.
We thank both Mr Hemming and Mrs Swindlehurst for their fantastic work at our school and we are very sorry to see both of them moving on. Having said that, both are progressing to exciting new roles in their careers.
We have recruited a very experienced, strong Deputy Head/SENDCo to start in September: Mrs Helen Smith. Mrs Smith is in next week for a first transition day. We very much look forward to working with Helen who brings great knowledge and leadership to the school.
