Headteacher blog 6th February 2026
Can the school get any wetter or muddier? We are having so many wet days: last Wednesday’s sunshine is a very distant memory. Lots of children do still love the wet weather: particularly those lower key stage 2 children that seem to adore quagmires. After a bit of ‘help’ from some mud-loving children, we seem to have two new ‘rivers’ in the corner of the top field and we will soon be able to use them to illustrate geography lessons about erosion, the formation of valleys and deposition forming deltas. Not sure this is what Ofsted meant when they described our geography fieldwork as ‘exceptional’ in 2023.
