Growing a garden in Year 5

Hi all,

We have had a fun week in Year 5 this week, completing lots of science and work on plant reproduction. We labelled and dissected flowers, learning about all the male and female parts. Next, we learned about asexual reproduction. We took cuttings of tomato plants, rosemary and started an experiment growing potatoes in different circumstances.

All the children performed the song ‘Look into the Night’ in music.
