Farewell to Sylvia Smart
After twenty years as a lunchtime assistant, we bade farewell to Sylvia Smart in assembly today as she begins her belated retirement. The infant children and all the staff gathered to see her off, and children from the juniors returned to say goodbye and recall her kindness and great sense of humour. The children sang a song about sunshine – very fitting as Sylvia’s bright and happy personality has brought great warmth to the school for two decades. We wish her well for the future.
