Phonics

This week the children have read 2 different books as part of our guided reading sessions. They have worked hard to re-read sentences to develop fluency and comprehension skills. Well done!

Maths

This week, the children have been doing lots of addition and subtraction work. The children are becoming more confident at answering calculations.

Poetry Slam

The children enjoyed performing our poem in front of the whole school at the Poetry Slam. They all did a great job!

Sports Day

The children were all fantastic at Sports Day!

Secret Reader

Meeting our Year 1 Teacher!

The children all enjoyed meeting their Year 1 teacher. RP will be taught by Mrs Connolly, on a Monday, and Mrs Galbraith for the rest of the week. RGK will be taught by Miss Hardwick. Mrs Connolly will teach them on a Tuesday morning.
