Week ending 23rd May 2014
This week the Y5 cohort have been in the Yorkshire Dales on their residential. The children were split into two groups and have spent 3 full days away from school either at the beginning or end of the week.
Last week it was Y6 and this week Y2 have completed their statutory assessment tests. The staff are delighted with the children’s efforts. Y3 and Y4 have been working hard completing their internal SATs tests. Y1 had a fabulous time on their treasure hunt on Monday and have continued the pirate theme with the work they have been doing in class. Reception have had a ‘creative mini-beast week’. KS1 also enjoyed parent drop in sessions at the beginning and end of the day on Thursday.
Next week is half term and Monday 2nd June is a teacher training day. I look forward to seeing the children on Tuesday 3rd June. Have a good week away from school: be happy, be healthy and be safe.
