Musical Instruments
Year 4 turned their classrooms into workshops this Thursday! Using saws, drills, and hammers, the children applied their science knowledge to build an amazing array of instruments, including xylophones, trombones, rainsticks, pan pipes, chimes and drums.
As well as their safe and accurate use of the tools, we were particularly impressed by the children’s teamwork. Whether it was holding a piece of wood steady for a friend or problem-solving a tricky design flaw, the children’s resilience and kindness shone through.
A big thank you to everyone who donated materials for this project. We hope you enjoy our photos!
