Secure an exclusive visit from a United States Diplomat to talk with your 6th Form Students
The U.S Diplomat Sixth Form Workshop is an interactive youth outreach initiative. It’s an opportunity for U.S. diplomats and students to exchange thoughts and ideas on the role of the U.K and U.S. in world affairs.
For the first half of the workshop the visiting diplomat asks a series of questions using an interactive web-based presentation. This is followed by a discussion where students are invited to share what frustrates, concerns, or confuses them about the U.S and what they like, gives them hope or inspires them about the U.S. The visiting diplomat will also often discuss a specific topic related to their experience or job at the Embassy.

- Survey on responses and attitudes to Radicalisation
Have your say on protecting vulnerable individuals from radicalisation in education with Aarhus University’s extensive research project:
This short survey is conducted by researchers at Aarhus University, Denmark (led by Dr David Parker, a former local authority Prevent practitioner in West London). The overall aim is to increase understandings of the support that could be provided to teachers in their work with vulnerable students.
The survey provides a hypothetical scenario involving a student and then asks some follow up questions about teacher responses and attitudes. It is aimed at teachers in the UK and Denmark as part of a wider project commission led by the European Commission, designed to enhance effective safeguarding.
The survey should take approx. 6 minutes to complete and there are 40 x £50 Amazon vouchers available to participants to win in a raffle
Findings will be made available following analysis.
