Headteacher blog 23rd September 2022
It’s been a good week at school: attendance is finally up to pre-pandemic levels which is really helpful. All the classrooms are calm and purposeful. Our nursery teacher can’t stop smiling as she has a really super group of three year olds who have settled really well.
It has been an exciting week for Year 6, having been on trips to Yeadon Tarn for sailing, raft-building and other activities. This work links with their class text Kensuke’s Kingdom, but is also part of the Outdoor and Adventurous Activities curriculum. The children shouldn’t have really got wet, but they nearly all did!
