Head teacher blog November 6th 2015

It has been good to be back in school this week. It has been very busy, with two very well-attended and positive Parents’ Evenings and a full Governors’ meeting. Year 4 had a fabulous day on Thursday learning all about the science of sound with an expert: ‘Sam the Sound Man.’  Today 5T are going back to Crawshaw’s wonderful ‘Lego Lab’ to continue their work on cogs and gearing and a team of children are off to Stanningley Rugby club for a tag rugby tournament. A group of 8 children have begun rehearsals with other schools for the Christmas Town Hall Concert and some children from Y3 and Y6 have started series of lessons at Gym Magic and The Depot climbing wall – thank goodness for minibuses!
