2LA Skelton Grange
We had a lovely day today at Skelton Grange. This morning the children explored different habitats in search of minibeasts. In the ponds we were amazed to find tadpoles, water boatmen, pond skaters, water snails, dragonfly nymphs newts and baby newts (efts). In the meadows we found ladybirds, ladybird larva, spiders and shield bugs. In the woods we found slugs, woodlice, centipedes and spiders. This afternoon the children enjoyed lots of different play activities in the woods. They have all had a fantastic day!
