Classical music treat for the children (and staff)
This morning the KS2 children had a real treat: a free concert in the Baroque style from Duo Moderna. Asuka (from Japan) and Johan (from Sweden) dazzled the children with their playing of the Baroque violin and magnificent ‘theorbo’. There were excellent questions and answers and the children seemed to really enjoy the music.
Following on from 50 children attending the ballet last night, and music training for teachers on Tuesday, we have had a very cultural start to the new term.
