It has been a very windy week at Farfield: the turbine has generated about £250 worth of electricity in the past month! Coat ‘parachutes’ have been very much in evidence at playtimes – some things don’t change from childhood to childhood… I showed some prospective Year 3 parents around yesterday and they were impressed Read…

Packed audiences enjoyed KS2’s performances of Scrooge. Many thanks to Mrs Sloan for the direction and choreography and a huge well done to all the children, especially Megan who had so many lines and songs to learn! Many thanks also for donations for tea and coffee: over £50 was raised for the Sick Children’s Read…

  • Blast Off! KS1 score highly in number-related nativity

Parents and grandparents enjoyed our 120 5-7year olds performing a maths-related nativity that had Mrs Fisher’s influence written all over it! This was, sadly, Mrs Fisher’s last Christmas production at Farfield and the children didn’t let her down.
