Year 2 went to Skelton Grange nature reserve this week and some of them found newts and a lizard: how fantastic is that? Our infants visit lots of nature reserves – Rodley and Denso Marston as well as Skelton Grange – but our juniors don’t. We will need to address that next year. The juniors do gets lots of great trips though and Y5 are off to Malham next week and Y4 are off to the Dales in July.

This week two girl football teams had a wonderful day at Goals in Kirkstall for the St. Bart’s Cup. I have been delighted that we have done so much girls football this year and credit for that goes to Mrs Harding and Mr Beevers: thank you!  Just browsing the Sports Results section of the website shows an impressive amount of sports competition again this year: https://www.farsleyfarfield.org.uk/sports-results/

This weekend, families that live locally might like to support the fabulous Farsley Festival in Hainsworth Park. Next week is the run-up to the Camp-Over and the weather is set fair again. It is looking like another fabulous event. I hope that you have got your tickets and that you have considered giving an hour or so as a volunteer too?
