Walks, rehearsals and rovers in Year 5

Walks, rehearsals and rovers in Year 5

We have had an extremely busy week this week in Year 5.

We went on a walk through time in Farsley, finishing off at Sunnybank Mills, to learn about listed buildings and how farsley has changed over time.

Here’s a link to 5Bs photos

Here are a few from 5K:

We worked on our DT project to make Mars rovers. 5K made the frames while 5B are slightly ahead and made a few moving rovers.

Here are some photos of 5B making their rovers.

5K’s photos will follow soon!

Here is a video of one in action:

We have also been rehearsing like crazy. We have not set any homework this week so please just read with your child and encourage them to learn their lines.

Many thanks the Year 5 team.
