This week in Nursery

Looking after your teeth

One of the very important things we talk about in Nursery is caring for your teeth. This week we have been talking to the children about keeping their teeth clean and healthy. You will have received an information leaflet about how to support your child to brush their teeth. Please help your child to complete the Home Toothbrushing Chart and return it to Nursery. Your child will then receive a toothbrushing certificate. Here is a clip we watched in Nursery and for you to also share at home.

Plants

The children have been helping to look after the seeds we planted a few weeks ago. The sunflower seeds are doing really well but the marigold ones are lagging behind!

Number 3

This week we introduced the number 3 by reading the Number Puppy story. We are also learning about the triangle shape. Please keep an eye out at home and when you are out and about for this numeral and the shape. You could go on a shapes and number hunt walk!

Lots of fun!

We have had a great week and the children have been doing some playing in the areas of provision. We have noticed some lovely friendships developing but also some very good independent play.

Have a lovely weekend from the Nursery team
