This week in Nursery

This week in Nursery

It has been such a cold week and very slippy so we haven’t been able to go out as much as we usually do. However the children have still been very active and have been having a go at some familiar ‘Write dance’ activities as well as learning some new ones. Here is one of the new ones the children have enjoyed…

Cold

We have been talking about how cold it is at the moment and thinking about the different meanings of the word. When people are unwell we say they have ‘a cold’ and when the temperature is very low we describe it as cold. Here are some of the things we have been thinking about when we talk about the word ‘cold’.

Jolly Snow

There wasn’t much snow this week so we brought the snow to Nursery by reading this story…

Slime

Messy play is always a popular activity and this week the children have been experiencing slime!

Lots of other fun!

Here are just a few pictures of other things the children have been doing this week…

Have a lovely weekend from the Nursery team
