Skelton Grange Trip – 2BW
2BW had a fantastic day at Skelton Grange on Thursday. Each group had a go at pond dipping, using nets to collect flying insects and searching for minibeasts in the woods. They picked up lots of information about the range of minibeasts and their habitats.
After lunch we all enjoyed a wonderful time altogether in the woods. The children could try the rope swing, den building, mud kitchen, pulley and many other fun activities. The hammocks were really popular and some children could quite happily have stayed there. The staff at Skelton Grange commented on how well behaved and enthusiastic the class were.
