Phonics

This week we have learnt the phonemes z, zz, qu and ch. Our tricky word is ‘we‘. We have now learnt all the Phase 2 phonemes. Does your child know them all?

Well done to everyone who has got a Fast Phonic certificate this week. Please keep playing it lots at home.

Maths

This week we have been learning about the composition of numbers. We have been talking about ‘whole’ and ‘parts’. The children had lots of fun making a fruit kebab and counting all the parts.

Abbey House Museum

The children are looking forward to our visit to Abbey House. Please pay your £5 contribution on ParentPay by Monday 2nd December.
