Phonics

We have now learnt all the phase 2 phonemes and we are beginning to learn the phase 3 phonemes. We are busy assessing how many of the phase 2 phonemes the children know.

Maths

This week we have been busy writing digits to 5, ordering them and doing lots of counting. We are also updating our end-of-term maths assessments.

RE

In our RE lessons we have been talking about what some families celebrate at Christmas – the birth of Jesus. We shared photos of when we were a baby and talked about what we did then and what we can do now.

Abbey House Museum

The children thoroughly enjoyed their visit to Abbey House Museum. They enjoyed dressing up and making Christmas crafts. They also received a present from Father Christmas! Thank you to all the parents who came with us. We hope that you enjoyed it too.

A Wriggly Nativity

We hope that you all enjoyed our nativity. We are very proud of all the children. They were amazing!

Party Day!

The children are looking forward to their party next Wednesday. Please don’t send in too much food as they will have had their school dinner!

Have a lovely weekend.
