Our tricky word this week is out. We have also continued to learn about consonant clusters. This week we have looked at br like in brown, fl like in flat and dr like in drink.
Maths
This week the children have been doing lots of work on addition and subtraction. The children are becoming more confident at answering calculations.
Understanding the World – RE
The children enjoyed listening to this story in our RE lesson. They are trying hard to do lots of recycling in school.
Fun with maps!
This week the children have been learning lots of positional language. They had fun exploring a treasure island and used lots of great language.
Secret Reader
Thank you to our secret readers. Apparently, Mr Harris reading a story isn’t a secret as they know him! He will be reading to RP next week – don’t tell them!
