Observation hive at Farfield
Most classes this week got to be up close to bees in an observation hive brought in by Mrs Gilhooley and Mrs Laurie. Many thanks once again to the ladies for their wonderful insight into the fascinating life of bees. The hives on our Farfield Farm go from strength to strength under their watchful stewardship.
Portsmouth Beekeepers are trying to obtain an observation hive the same as is on display on this site. Any info appreciated as to where we could try. We do have one with a single window but feel the two window model will be less stressful for the bees and bus.Thanks for any info
