Phonics
The children are really impressing us during our Phase 2 phonics sessions. This week, we have introduced the phoneme and grapheme for ‘p’.
Maths
We have reached number 8! The children get very excited when a new book is read to them. This week, Puppy Number 8 went on a visit to the park and found 8 ducks. The colour focus is grey, and the shape is an octagon.
Sports Day
The children have all been practising this week. On the day, we will have three races: running, egg and spoon, and quoit balancing. They are very excited to take part.
Everything else
We have enjoyed the sunshine this week and tried to stay in the shade as much as possible. Having recently found some ‘treasure’, we used it to buy a class treat to cool us down. The children have also been busy practising their fine motor skills.
